YEPE is a unique character that originated from the Mindviscosity comic by Matt Furie. He represents patience, loyalty, and friendship, brought to life in our reality and now tradeable as a token on the Ethereum blockchain.

YEPE is tradeable on the Ethereum blockchain using Uniswap. The official contract address is: 0x699d92ee97deeaffcf3f723a436bfaa29a264169.  Always double-check the contract address before trading!

Step 1: Set Up an Ethereum Wallet

  1. Download and Install MetaMask

    • Go to the MetaMask website and download the browser extension or mobile app.
    • Follow the instructions to create a new wallet. Remember to securely save your seed phrase—don’t share it with anyone!

  2. Fund Your Wallet with ETH

    • You’ll need Ethereum (ETH) to buy YEPE and to cover gas fees.
    • You can purchase ETH on a centralized exchange like Binance, Coinbase, or Kraken.
    • After purchasing, transfer the ETH to your MetaMask wallet by copying your wallet address (found at the top of MetaMask) and pasting it as the withdrawal address on your exchange.

Step 2: Connect Your Wallet to Uniswap

  1. Visit the Uniswap Website

    • Go to Uniswap and click “Launch App.”

  2. Connect MetaMask to Uniswap

    • Click “Connect Wallet” in the top right corner.
    • Select MetaMask and follow the prompts to connect your wallet to the Uniswap platform.

Step 3: Add YEPE to Uniswap

  1. Get the YEPE Contract Address

    • Copy the official YEPE contract address:

  2. Import YEPE into Uniswap

    • Click on “Select a Token” in the Uniswap interface.
    • Paste the YEPE contract address in the search bar.

Step 5: Add YEPE to MetaMask

  1. View YEPE in MetaMask

    • After the transaction is confirmed, click “Add Token” in MetaMask.
    • Paste the YEPE contract address again and add it as a custom token.

  2. Check Your Balance

    • Now, you should see your YEPE balance in MetaMask!

When liquidity pool (LP) tokens are burned, it means they are permanently removed from circulation and cannot be accessed or withdrawn. This action locks the liquidity in the pool, ensuring that the project’s liquidity is stable and no one, including the team, can rug-pull or remove the funds.

Yes, the ownership of the YEPE contract has been renounced. This means that no one has control over the contract, and it cannot be altered or changed. It’s a way to guarantee the security and transparency of the project for the community.

These wallets belonged to a sniper who tried to snipe into our liquidity. These we’re automatically blacklisted by the deadblocks function on the contract. As a result, they can no longer interact with the YEPE token, effectively locking away 31% of the total supply.

Under the Read Contract section, locate the #6 Blocked function.

Input the wallet addresses you want to check, and if they are blacklisted, the function will confirm it.
